Aiman Baig

Graduate Student Researcher at CHEO Research Institute

Aiman Baig has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Aiman started their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the National Research Council Canada in September 2017, where they worked until May 2018. Aiman then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University from September 2017 to April 2019. In July 2015, Aiman joined Farm Boy (Canada) as a Bakery Customer Service Representative, and worked there until September 2018. In August 2021, Aiman became a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, where they worked until December 2021. Aiman continued their role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa from January 2021 to August 2021. In September 2022, Aiman took on the role of Exam Proctor at the University of Ottawa and continues to work in this position. Additionally, in September 2019, Aiman became a Graduate Student Researcher at the CHEO Research Institute, and is presently in this role.

Aiman Baig began their education at Earl of March Secondary School from 2010 to 2014, earning an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Afterwards, they attended Carleton University from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Biology. During their time at Carleton University, Aiman had a concentration in Health Science and a minor in Neuroscience and Mental Health. Presently, Aiman Baig is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa, which is expected to be completed in 2024.
