Amy Porath, PhD, currently serves as an Investigator at the CHEO Research Institute and as the Director of Research and Knowledge Mobilization at the Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions. Previously, Amy held the position of Director of Research & Policy at the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction for nearly 15 years, where significant contributions included advancing substance use knowledge to inform national policies and practices. With a distinguished career highlighted by recognition as one of Canada’s Top 100 Health Influencers in both 2019 and 2020, Amy has successfully managed complex projects, fostered strategic partnerships, and delivered numerous presentations at national and international events. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, a Master's Degree in Psychology from Carleton University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Carleton University.
