Emilie Hill-Smith

Emilie Hill-Smith has a diverse work experience in the research field. Emilie started their career at Carleton University in 2017, where they worked as a Team Lead and Graduate Teaching Assistant until April 2019. During this time, they also held roles as a Research Assistant and conducted a Research Fellowship.

In 2018, Emilie joined Roger's House as a Researcher. Emilie worked there until June 2020, contributing to research projects in a healthcare setting.

In 2019, Emilie joined the CHEO Research Institute as a Grants Coordinator, responsible for managing grants. Emilie later transitioned to a role as a Clinical Research Coordinator, working on clinical trials for rare neuromuscular disorders and providing clinical care for patients with these conditions.

Emilie Hill-Smith pursued their educational journey, beginning in 2013, at Carleton University where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Child Studies, completing their studies in 2018. Emilie'spassion for learning and furthering their knowledge led their to pursue a Master's degree in Anthropology at the same institution, from 2018 to 2020.
