Jason Berman

Jason Berman serves as the CEO and Scientific Director at CHEO Research Institute and Vice President of Research at CHEO -- Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario since August 2019. Concurrently, Jason holds the position of Full Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Ottawa. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Vice President of Research, Innovation and Knowledge Translation at IWK Health Centre from 2017 to 2019, and various roles at Dalhousie University from 2005 to 2019, including Associate Chair Research and Full Professor in multiple departments. Jason's research background includes fellowships and positions at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Jason's educational credentials encompass a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology from Harvard Medical School, an M.D. from the University of Toronto, and a BSc from York University.
