Kate Dervin has extensive experience in research and clinical settings, currently serving as a Research Screener at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since July 2021 and as a Volunteer Research Assistant at CHEO, where a post-graduate project focuses on Perinatal Palliative Care. Additional roles include Research Interviewer at British Columbia Centre on Substance Use and Instructor for Little Medical School - Ottawa, facilitating healthcare learning for children. Prior experience encompasses clerical work in the Mother-Baby Unit at The Ottawa Hospital, teaching assistance at Carleton University, and research positions at CHEO Research Institute and The Royal Mental Health Centre. Kate is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Ottawa, building on a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences/Biomedical Sciences from Carleton University.
