Amber Cantu joined CHEP in 2022 and serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for CHEP North America. She leads a team of human resources professionals focused on setting and executing people strategies and creating an employee experience that promotes engagement, inclusivity and development. After graduating from the McCombs Business School at University of Texas at Austin, Amber started her career in Finance leading large-scale mergers and acquisition projects. However, she quickly found her passion for people led her to the world of HR.
Prior to CHEP, Amber held varying human resources roles with large organizations, including Philips and EssilorLuxottica. She was most recently the head of human resources for Dell’s Global Supply Chain, Operations & Digital group, which included over 11,000 team members in more than 30 countries. Amber was also the executive sponsor for Latino Connection, one of Dell’s global Employee Resource Groups.
