Happson Tshuma

Happson Tshuma is an accomplished leader in process engineering and manufacturing, currently serving as the Director of Process Engineering, Automation, and Technical Systems for CHEP in the AMET region since July 2023, where management includes a budget exceeding R200 million. Previously, Happson held various leadership positions at Volvo Group from June 2015 to June 2023, including Head of Manufacturing, where full P&L accountability was maintained, and oversight of operational efficiency was prioritized. Earlier experience includes positions at Cummins Inc. focusing on supplier project leadership and manufacturing engineering, as well as roles at Marcopolo S.A. and CBI-electric: low voltage, with an emphasis on quality management and production planning. Happson's educational background includes a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Pretoria, a Masters of Business Leadership from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership, and a B.Eng. Hons. in Industrial and Manufacturing from the National University of Science and Technology.
