Afsar Ahmed

Afsar Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Afsar is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at CHEQ Mobile Solutions since August 2021. Prior to this, Afsar worked at Informatix Technologies as a Product Consultant from August 2018 to August 2021, where they were responsible for providing input and support for product development. Afsar also served as a Technology Shaper at Telenor Health from November 2016 to July 2018, overseeing project management and defining the product roadmap. Afsar's experience also includes working as an Agile/Scrum Facilitator at TechMasters from April 2016 to October 2016. Afsar spent a significant portion of their career at banglalink, starting as a Project Control Engineer in the CTO's Office from January 2006 to July 2007, and later transitioning to the role of Senior Assistant Manager, Technical Programs & Network Quality from August 2007 to March 2016. At banglalink, Afsar developed systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and managed stakeholder relationships. Afsar began their career as a Network Engineer at Siemex Computers from February 2003 to November 2003. Prior to their current role, Afsar also worked as a Senior Staff Writer at New Age Media from August 2005 to December 2005 and as an Editorial Assistant & Staff Correspondent at The Daily Star from December 2003 to July 2005. Throughout their career, Afsar has demonstrated expertise in project management, product development, operations management, and stakeholder engagement.

Afsar Ahmed completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Before that, they attended Notre Dame College from 1995 to 1997, where they earned their H.S.C. degree in Science.

In addition to their formal education, Afsar Ahmed has obtained several certifications. In November 2016, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through Scrum Alliance. In February 2017, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the same institution. In March 2020, they completed the Management 3.0 certification from TechMasters. Most recently, in March 2022, Afsar Ahmed obtained the Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) certification from Scrum Alliance.
