David Yarbrough

Mathematics Teacher at CHEROKEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

David Yarbrough is an experienced mathematics teacher with over a decade of service in the educational field. Currently employed at Cherokee County Schools since August 2012, David specializes in writing and implementing Individual Education Programs for students receiving Special Education Services and teaches a range of subjects including Geometry, Algebra 1, and Precalculus. In addition to academic roles, David is involved in after-school activities, such as ACT test preparation and summer school instruction, and has coached wrestling and cross country. Prior to this, David taught at Fulton County Schools from August 2006 to August 2012, managing approximately 120 students daily and emphasizing the importance of student potential. David holds a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University, a Master’s degree in Adolescent Mathematics Education from Kennesaw State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of West Georgia.
