Robert "Bob" L. Williams, Jr. has over 40 years of experience in emergency communications and radio systems management. Currently serving as the Emergency Communications Facilitator for the Cherokee County School District since October 2018, Williams oversees two-way radio communications and systems across multiple divisions. Previously, as the Public Safety Communications Center Manager at Kennesaw State University, Williams managed a 24/7 operations center for dispatching services. In a long tenure with the City of Marietta, Williams held various positions, including Radio Systems Manager and E-911 Communications Center Chief/Director, where responsibilities included managing communication systems for multiple city departments and ensuring efficient emergency response. Early career roles included supervisory and operational positions in 911 communications for Fulton County Government and the City of East Point.
