Wendy Barker

Wendy Barker is a highly experienced educational professional with a focus on school psychology and leadership within the Cherokee County School District in Georgia since July 2011. As the Lead School Psychologist, Wendy has coordinated the Preschool Assessment Team, conducting comprehensive evaluations for preschool children and facilitating transitions from early intervention services. Wendy has extensive background as a school psychologist at both the preschool and elementary levels, providing critical support for learning, social-emotional, and behavioral challenges. Prior experience includes consultation and assessment services in various schools across metro Atlanta, as well as comprehensive psychological services at Fulton County Schools. Wendy's education includes a Tier 1 Certification in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University and advanced degrees in School Psychology from Georgia State University and Kent State University.
