Buzz Ahrens

Buzz Ahrens has extensive leadership experience in both public service and international business. Since January 2007, Buzz Ahrens has served as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners in Cherokee County. Prior to this role, Buzz Ahrens held the position of Senior Vice President - International at Newell Rubbermaid from 1996 to 1999 and was the President of VF Jeans Europe from 1990 to 1995. Buzz Ahrens's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in International Business from The George Washington University, a Bachelor of Foreign Trade in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from Yale University.
