Erika Neldner

Erika Neldner has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Their most recent role is as the Communications Director at Cherokee County since 2020. Prior to that, they were a Small Business Owner at Javan Marketing, where they provided full-service marketing solutions for small businesses. From 2016 to 2020, they also served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Reinhardt University, where they managed various marketing efforts and mentored students. Erika began their career as a journalist at The Cherokee Ledger-News, starting as a Beat reporter and eventually becoming the Managing Editor. Throughout their time at the newspaper, they covered city government, law enforcement, and public safety beats, and was responsible for layout and design.
