P. Ben Elder

P. Ben Elder, MS has extensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Prior to that, they worked at Cherokee Nation Businesses where they served as the Sr. Marketing Manager from March 2018 to May 2021. They also held the role of Marketing Operations Manager from September 2012 to March 2018, during which they provided critical marketing support for multiple non-gaming portfolios and managed a team of five employees. Additionally, they were responsible for strategic marketing planning, brand management, and media spending of over $1 million annually. Before joining Cherokee Nation Businesses, P. Ben Elder worked at Cherokee Nation Entertainment, where they held various roles including Marketing Manager, Sr. Communications Specialist, and Cultural Tourism Coordinator II & III. They successfully managed marketing activities and communications for tourism entities, resulting in significant growth in visitor counts and revenue. Overall, P. Ben Elder has a strong background in marketing and communications with a focus on strategic planning, brand management, and budget oversight.

P. Ben Elder, MS, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mass Communication and Media Management at the same institution.
