Karen Carpenter

Karen Carpenter, MBA, has over two decades of experience in human resources, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic HR and Human Resources at Cherokee Health Systems since October 2001. In this role, Karen enhances, implements, and enforces HR policies to improve organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency. Previous positions include Human Resources Manager, Senior Human Resources Generalist, HR Generalist, Corporate Recruiter, and Case Manager, where Karen facilitated assistance for the homeless. Karen also held the position of Residential Director at Lakeway Center for Handicapp. Academically, Karen holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from King University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Carson-Newman University.
