Gene Garvin

Gene Garvin is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in operations management and technology support. Currently serving as the Director of IT Support Operations at Cherokee Nation Businesses since August 2012, Garvin oversees three key areas including Tier 1 Service Desk, Tier 2 Desktop Support, and IT Assets, managing a team of 35 staff. Prior to this role, Garvin held the position of Director of Employee & Customer Relationship Management at Cherokee Services Group, where responsibilities included directing over eight Federal Program Managers and managing all operational aspects of government contracts. Additionally, Garvin was a Federal Program Manager focused on government IT contracts and served as Vice President of Technology at Enterprise Financial Group, where key responsibilities included determining enterprise information security standards and strategic technology planning. Garvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from The University of Tulsa and has pursued an MBA at the University of Oklahoma.
