Mary Baker Shaw

Mary Baker Shaw serves as an At-Large Tribal Council Representative for the Cherokee Nation, advocating for 280,000 tribal citizens living outside the jurisdiction since August 2017. In addition, Mary holds significant leadership roles as Past President of the Oklahoma Educational Foundation of Osteopathic Medicine and Past Chairman of the Tulsa Community College Foundation, both since June 2013 and June 2012, respectively. As a member of the American Indian Resource Committee since 2007, Mary contributes to Native American advocacy efforts. Previous experience includes serving on the Board of Trustees at Bacone College from May 2014 to May 2016. Educational credentials include studies at Bacone College, Mayo Clinic, and Northeastern State University.
