Sr. PSDS Piping Designer at Cherokee Nation

Robert Robinson is a seasoned professional in piping and mechanical design with extensive experience across various industries, including nuclear, industrial gas, and wastewater treatment. Currently serving as a Sr. PSDS Piping Designer for Cherokee Nation, since January 2014, Robert has contributed significantly to the UPF Project at the Y12 National Security Complex by creating 3D piping designs and equipment layouts. Prior experience includes roles as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Matheson Tri-Gas, where Robert managed facility expansions and developed comprehensive design documents, and as a Manager/Lead Mechanical Designer with The Advent Group and Environ International Corp. Notable earlier roles include mechanical design and detailing positions at Linatex, American Mechanical Dredge, Cummings Signs, and American Cad, alongside foundational work in assembly fabrication at McDonnell Douglas. Robert holds an Associate of Science Degree in Piping Design and Electro/Mechanical Engineer Design from MTI College and attended LA Trade Tech.
