Casey Schrum

Casey Schrum has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career in 2006 as a Team Lead at Tween Brands and worked there until 2011. In 2011, they became a Food and Beverage Bartender at Fort Eustis Army Base, a role they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Casey worked as an Operations Assistant at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services. They then moved on to CMA CGM, where they held the positions of Intermodal Coordinator from 2013 to 2015, and Senior Intermodal Coordinator and Team Lead from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, Casey started working as an Educator at Virginia Beach City Public Schools and continued in this role until 2023. From 2016 to 2023, they also worked as a Pool Bartender at Crestline Hotels & Resorts during the busy tourist season. Most recently, Casey joined Cherry Bekaert in 2023 as an Office Services Lead.

Casey Schrum earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Old Dominion University from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Casey obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university.
