Jay Lown

Jay Lown is the President & CEO at Cherry Hill Mortgage Investment. Prior to this, they were a Managing Director at NewOak from October 2009 to September 2010. From April 2002 to March 2008, they worked as a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank. Before that, they were the Vice President of Mortgage Finance at Citigroup from January 1999 to April 2002.

Lown has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Jay specializes in mortgage financing and has held various positions throughout their career including Portfolio Manager and Managing Director. Jay is responsible for building and co-heading an externally managed residential mortgage REIT and has developed a strategy focused on purchasing and securitizing jumbo prime residential whole loans through relationships with originators, banks and broker dealer conduits.

Jay Lown's educational career consists of a BS in finance from Lehigh University College of Business, an MBA in finance from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, and a HS in college prep from Christian Brothers Academy.
