Kwame Morton is an experienced educational leader with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving as the Superintendent of Cherry Hill Public Schools since July 2008. Morton has held various positions within the district, including Acting Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for PreK-12 and Curriculum and Instruction. Previously, Morton was a Principal at both Cherry Hill Public Schools and the School District of Philadelphia, where expertise as a Turnaround Specialist was applied to improve a historically low-performing K-8 school. Early in the career, Morton served as an Assistant Principal and a Teacher within the New York City Department of Education. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northcentral University, a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision from The College of Saint Rose, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from PennWest Clarion.
