Vladimir Karnushin has been working in the IT field since 2013. Vladimir began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at OAO Leninets in 2013. Vladimir then moved to OOO Ofis-M North West as a System Administrator, where they were responsible for deploying open source software, setting up network environments, and building and configuring server and desktop hardware. In 2014, they became a System Administrator at OOO T.T.Consulting, where they administered RedHat and CentOS Linux servers. In 2015, they joined NVIDIA as a Middle DevOps engineer, where they were responsible for day-to-day operations, responding to incidents and outages, taking part in the network and hardware design of newly deployed Kafka clusters, and making performance optimizations. Vladimir then moved to OneTwoTrip as a DevOps Team Lead, where they built and managed a large deployment of Linux and windows EC2 instances with Chef configuration management tool, wrote recipes, tools, scripts, and monitoring checks to automate build/deployment process, and developed and supported key pieces of the company's AWS cloud infrastructure. In 2018, they joined Cherry Labs, Inc. as a DevOps Engineer.

Vladimir Karnushin received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" in 2011, having studied there from 2007.
