Joseph Slappey

Joseph Slappey is the current Assistant Project Manager at Cherry Street Energy. Prior to this, they were the Commercial Project Manager at Creative Solar USA from December 2020 to September 2021. There, they organized and co-led ten cohorts of idea stage and early stage food and beverage entrepreneurs, contracted technical assistance for CREATE entrepreneurs in product licensing, packaging and digital marketing, managed procurement and installation of a 1,000 gallon and three, 100 gallon aquaponics systems in a 1,200 sq. foot hoop house, and managed contracts for the development of aquaponics curriculum and instruction of three cohorts of training programs focused in SW Atlanta. Joseph also co-taught a project based entrepreneurship class for undergraduates at CAU each semester. Joseph Slappey has a Master's Degree in Business from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin.
