Donna L. Anderson

Donna Anderson is an experienced executive in the non-profit sector, currently serving as the Executive Director at Chesapeake Arts Center since February 2020. Prior to this role, Donna held the position of President at Anderson Creative Solutions, LLC, where services focused on marketing, communications, fundraising, grant writing, and event planning for non-profits and small businesses from October 2018 to February 2020. Donna's extensive background includes serving as Vice President of Marketing and Development at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts from October 2003 to September 2018 and as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, along with a role as Public Relations Manager/Consultant at Goodwill of Greater Washington from September 1994 to 2002. Additionally, Donna was the Public Affairs Officer at the National Building Museum from 1989 to 1994. Donna holds a B.A. in Communications from American University, earned between 1982 and 1986.
