Ben Alexandro currently serves as the Chesapeake Conservation Partnership Program Director at Chesapeake Conservancy since November 2022, focusing on protecting 30% of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed by 2030. Previously, Alexandro was a Senior Government Affairs Advocate at the League of Conservation Voters, where responsibilities included lobbying on conservation issues and building equity-focused campaigns. Alexandro has also held various leadership roles within the Maryland League of Conservation Voters and the Environmental Finance Center, contributing to strategies involving over 100 nonprofits and providing technical assistance on green infrastructure. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy: Environmental Policy and another in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Maryland, along with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Delaware.
