Daniel Patrick O'Leary's work experience includes a range of roles in the brewing industry. Daniel Patrick started their career as a Computer Laboratory Monitor at Nyack College in 2001. Daniel Patrick then worked as a Waste Water Treatment Operator at Pure Process USA, Inc. from 2001 to 2016. In 2006, they became a Youth Pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church and held that position until 2009. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Server at Relish. In 2010, they became the Lead Pastor at Arise Community Church and served in that role until 2018. In 2012, they joined Port Jeff Brewing Co. as a Tasting Room Manager and later took on roles as Brewer, Director of Brewing Operations, and ultimately Head Brewer until 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Brewing Operator at Blue Point Brewing Company before co-founding and working as Co-Owner/Blender at North Shore Tea Co. until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Senior Head Brewer at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant.

Daniel Patrick O'Leary received their Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy from Alliance University between 2001 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Divinity degree in Pastoral Preaching from Liberty University, graduating in 2010. In 2010, they also obtained a Wastewater Treatment Operator Class Completion Certification in Water Quality and Wastewater Treatment Management from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville, which they completed in 2012.
