Chris Ayres

Chris Ayres serves as the Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer at Chesapeake Energy since August 2022. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Vice President in Investment Banking at Evercore from September 2016 to August 2022, focusing on energy M&A and corporate finance advisory with international experience in Dubai, London, and Houston. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank, where Chris specialized in Energy and Infrastructure M&A, and working as a Reservoir Engineer & Business Development professional at ConocoPhillips, engaging in M&A evaluations and reservoir characterization. Chris Ayres earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
