Chris Mikesell has extensive experience in the field of information technology and has held several leadership positions throughout their career. In their most recent role as the Director of Information Technology at Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center, Chris oversees all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure and provides technical support to the field. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of IT at Community Connections, Inc., where they directed all IT operations and ensured the consistency of service for existing applications. Chris also served as the Director Client Services/Operations - Cloud Solutions Group at IP Datasystems, Inc., where they led a client services team and implemented managed services offerings in cloud environments. Earlier in their career, Chris worked as the Director of Technologies and Infrastructure at Anne Arundel Medical Center, where they managed IT, Biomedical Engineering, and Telecommunications departments and ensured compliance with HIPAA security guidelines.
Chris Mikesell obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Chris attended the university from 1995 to 1998.
