Tamara Fackler, MD, is an experienced ophthalmologist and medical retinal specialist at Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center since September 2005, specializing in conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and ocular histoplasmosis, with expertise in intravitreal injection therapy. In addition, Tamara serves as Medical Director at eviCore healthcare, focusing on pre-authorizations and appeals in ophthalmology and neurology, while also working as a self-employed utilization review physician. Tamara's medical education includes a Retinal Fellowship at Duke University and an MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.
