Douglas D. Monroe Jr.

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and past Chairman and CEO of Chesapeake Financial Shares. A regional and national leader, Doug has served on the boards of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Corporation for American Banking. In addition, he is a former president of the Virginia Bankers Association, and former vice chairman of the Community Bankers Division of the American Bankers Association. Doug earned a BS from Washington and Lee University and an MS in economics from Purdue University.
