Helen started her career in the hospitality industry, holding operational and general management positions within Macdonald Hotels before moving into the independent luxury hotel market.
Helen’s career in FE started at Furness College in 2007 as a Tutor and Assessor in Hospitality before moving to a leading work-based learning training provider in the North West. Over the next 12 years she held roles as Assessor, Tutor, Internal Quality Assurer, Partnership Executive and latterly as Key Account Manager.
Helen joined Cheshire College – South & West in September 2020 as Employer Engagement and Relationship Manager. Passionate about training and development, she has worked with large, blue chip apprenticeship levy paying employers and SMEs to develop complete work-based training solutions that meet organisational objectives whilst offering their employees opportunities for continued professional development, enabling them to further their careers.

West Cheshire College merged with South Cheshire College in March 2017, creating a new FE College for Cheshire. 11,000 students and 1,300 apprentices have access to high quality teaching and learning across the three campuses: Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester.
