Caitlyn Koster is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist currently employed at Cheshire Fitness Zone Pediatric Therapy since July 2023. Previously, Caitlyn gained experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Intern at Forest Elementary School and Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, where responsibilities included providing client-centered therapy to students and working with patients experiencing various communication disorders. Caitlyn also served as a Graduate Assistant and Dean's Assistant at Southern Connecticut State University, supporting faculty, students, and administrative tasks. Additionally, a role as a Literacy Specialist Intern at Ridge Hill Elementary School involved administering language assessments and analyzing student data. Caitlyn holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University.

Cheshire Fitness Zone Pediatric Therapy
CFZ was designed specifically for children and adolescents of all ages and abilities. We feature three main therapy areas to include physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) and speech therapy (ST). Our physical therapy gym has a full array of exercise equipment biomechanically designed to fit children as well as a 32 foot long rock climbing wall. In addition, our physical therapy space has a baby-friendly room and a private treatment room. Our occupational therapy space features two sensory gyms and two fine motor rooms. The speech department boasts a number of individual treatment rooms. Each therapeutic program is individually designed to meet the needs of our clients. Our professional staff has many years of experience working with children. Physical Therapy Our team of physical therapists at CFZ has over 45 years of cumulative experience working exclusively with children to promote independence with functional mobility skills. Occupational Therapy Cheshire Fitness Zone occupational therapists help children develop the necessary skills for the job of living through play. Speech Therapy The speech and language team at CFZ offer specialized diagnostic and language services by completing comprehensive evaluations and treatment for a range of ages and patient needs. Feeding Therapy Our feeding team, comprised of Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, apply principles from advanced training to evaluate and treat patients with feeding concerns. Aquatic Therapy Aquatic therapy is a fun and engaging type of therapy that uses the properties of water to achieve therapeutic gains that may be too difficult for a child to attain through land based therapy.
