Chelsea Zavilla

Chelsea Zavilla has a strong background in pharmacy and healthcare administration. Chelsea currently holds the position of Associate Director of Pharmacy at Chester County Hospital/Penn Medicine. Prior to this, they worked at Bon Secours Mercy Health as the PGY1 Residency Program Director and Clinical Pharmacy Manager from 2018 to 2022. Chelsea also completed a Health System Pharmacy Administration Residency at UVA Health System from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Pharmacy Intern at UPMC from 2012 to 2016 and as a Pharmacy Volunteer at UPMC from 2010 to 2012.

Chelsea Zavilla completed their education at the following institutions:

- From 2016 to 2018, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University and obtained a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

- In 2016, they also completed a Teaching and Learning Certificate at Virginia Commonwealth University.

- From 2012 to 2016, they studied at the University of Pittsburgh and achieved a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

- In 2010, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.

- Starting in 2010 and ending in 2012, they also completed a Conceptual Foundations of Medicine Certificate at the University of Pittsburgh.

Additionally, Chelsea Zavilla holds various certifications, including the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Pharmacotherapy Certification obtained in 2018, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and Pharmacist Licenses in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Chelsea also has a Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification from the American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA).
