Ian McClure

Ian McClure serves as the Specialty Center Coordinator for the Leadership and International Relations Specialty Center at Chesterfield County Public Schools, overseeing program operations, curriculum development, and student engagement since July 2016. In addition, Ian teaches Social Studies, focusing on student-centered lessons aligned with Virginia SOLs, and holds the position of Adjunct Instructor for AP Human Geography with Virtual Virginia, where Ian creates engaging online content and supports students. Previous experience includes a role as a Long-term Substitute Teacher at Chesterfield County Public Schools, where Ian developed differentiated curriculum for diverse classes, and as an Account Executive at Snagajob, collaborating with franchisees to address their hiring needs. Ian McClure holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from James Madison University and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Richmond.
