Kaitlyn Tylus Stoneburner

Kaitlyn Tylus Stoneburner currently serves as the Coordinator of Special Education at Chesterfield County Public Schools since October 2018. With a robust background in special education, Kaitlyn previously held positions as a Special Education Teacher and Principal Intern at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from August 2016 to October 2018, and as a Special Education Teacher for Moderate Needs at El Paso County School District 8 from July 2015 to June 2016. Kaitlyn's experience also includes teaching Autism classes at Midlothian High School from June 2013 to June 2015 and working as a substitute teacher for Chesterfield County Public Schools from January 2010 to May 2013. Additionally, Kaitlyn contributed as a Program Worker in the Virginia Tech Transition Program, focusing on fostering independence for students with special needs. Education includes a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Liberty University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech.
