Peter Whiteley

Peter Whiteley serves as Company Secretary and Heritage Officer at Chesterfield FC, managing non-football paperwork and maintaining the club’s historical archive. Additionally, Peter functions as Governance Officer and Trustee for Chesterfield FC Community Trust, ensuring policy compliance and assisting in strategic planning while previously acting as Chair of the Board of Trustees during a governance review. With a long-standing commitment to Whittington Wanderers Cricket Club, Peter has transitioned from Chair to President after decades of active participation. Peter’s background includes serving as an Executive Officer in the Civil Service, focusing on welfare fraud investigations. Peter holds a BA (Hons) in Social Policy from the University of Leeds and a CHE in Fraud and Criminal Justice from the University of Portsmouth.
