David Parmley

Owner at Chesterfield Hotels Inc

A native of Warrensburg, Missouri, David started his hospitality career by waiting tables in the summers at the Osage House Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks while attending College at Central Missouri State University. After graduating in 1983 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he his was hired by Breckenridge Hotels as Director of Sales for the Campus Inn Hotel in Columbia, Missouri. At the age of 25 he became the youngest General Manager in the company’s history when Breckenridge transferred him to St. Louis in 1986 to run their 200 room Kings Inn Airport hotel. He continue working in the hotel business for the next decade as General Manager of several St. Louis hotels before deciding to construct his first hotel and starting the hotel management company in 1996. His management portfolio experience continued to grow with the development and operation of four additional Hilton branded hotels in the subsequent years. His management company, Chesterfield Hotels Inc., is recognized as a Preferred Franchise Partner by Hilton Worldwide. As both a principal and manager, Parmley has always structured his hotel investments with long-term ownership in mind, taking a large ownership stake himself. Due to his industry knowledge and attention to detail, construction costs at all of his properties have stayed on-budget and operationally his hotels consistently rank at the top of their respective markets for customer satisfaction and profitability.
