Neda Jafar

Neda Jafar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and carbon removal initiatives. Currently serving as a Partner at Kimmeridge since April 2013, Neda contributes to the firm's focus on alternative asset management through deep technical knowledge and proprietary research. Since February 2022, Neda has also held the position of Managing Director at Chestnut Carbon, a developer dedicated to nature-based carbon removal strategies. Prior roles include Vice President of Investor Relations and Associate at Chestnut Carbon, as well as Assistant Vice President and Analyst at HSBC from June 2010 to April 2013. Neda's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from New York University.
