Maggie Giles has extensive experience in academia and consulting, currently serving as the Chair of the Counseling & Psychology Department and as an Associate Professor at Lesley University since 2010, where coursework includes critical topics such as Counseling & Spirituality and Social Justice in Counseling. Additionally, since 2014, Maggie has provided technical assistance to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health on issues related to adolescence and substance use disorders. As a National GAIN Assessment Trainer and Consultant with Chestnut Health Systems, contributions include national training initiatives and follow-up assistance. Previous roles encompass coordinating the ADEPT Center at William James College, directing programs at Women’s Lunch Place, and holding executive positions at the Institute for Health & Recovery, where a division for youth and young adults was established. Educational background includes a PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis University, along with master's degrees in Counseling Psychology and Theological Studies.
