Anton Bates has extensive work experience in IT and service management. Anton is currently the Head of IT & Service Management at Chetwood Financial Limited. Anton also served as the Application Support Manager (Head of IT) at MetLife, overseeing business application support and development, and as the Application Support (and Test) Manager at Trader Media Group, where they improved efficiency and implemented Kanban methodology. Earlier in their career, Anton held various technical support roles at UISL/Royal & SunAlliance and Tiny Computers/Inkfish Call Centres.

Anton Bates holds a Master's Degree in Professional Computing from Staffordshire University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Level 3 Introductory Certificate in First Line Management at Godalming College in 2007. In addition, Anton has obtained several certifications including ISTQB Foundation from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2014, Prince 2 Foundation from APMG in 2013, and ITIL V3 Foundation from EXIN in 2012.
