Donald Helmer

Donald Helmer, CPA has a diverse range of experience in accounting and financial roles. Donald most recently served as the Vice President-Accounting at Chevron Federal Credit Union. Prior to that, they were the VP - Controller at Notre Capital Ventures and the Corporate Controller at EcoStim Energy Solutions, Inc. Donald also has experience as a Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, and VP of Finance & Accounting at their own firm, Donald Helmer, CPA. In addition, they have provided consulting services for a biotech pharmaceutical company during their initial public offering (IPO). Donald has held leadership positions at McDermott International Inc., KBR, Inc., Noble Drilling, Exterran, and BMC Software, where they oversaw financial reporting, internal controls, and management accounting. Donald Helmer has a strong track record of successfully managing change and transformation in large, public, and international companies.

Donald Helmer, CPA holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Texas Tech University, which they completed in 1984. Prior to this, they pursued Accounting at The University of Texas at Austin from 1980 to 1983. Donald has also obtained the CPA certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
