Elizabeth Kearns has a diverse work experience in the legal and financial planning fields. Elizabeth began their career as a Summer Law Clerk at the Tax Division, US Department of Justice in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Associate at Furey, Doolan & Abell, LLP. From 2011 to 2018, they served as an Estates & Trusts Attorney at Furey Doolan & Abell, LLP. In 2019, they joined Chevy Chase Trust as Vice President, and later became the Director and Co-Head of Planning. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director and Co-Head of Planning at Chevy Chase Trust, where they are responsible for providing strategic financial and estate planning services to clients, advising on matters such as business succession and philanthropic planning.
Elizabeth Kearns completed their high school education at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart from 1996 to 2000. Elizabeth then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature at the University of Notre Dame, which they completed from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2011, Elizabeth attended Duke University School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
