Jeff Whitaker

Jeff Whitaker has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jeff is currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Chevy Chase Trust since January 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an External Advisor - Asset and Wealth Management Practice at Boston Consulting Group from July 2020 to January 2021.

From July 2017 to October 2019, Jeff served as the Chief Operating Officer, Client Service & Marketing at Bridgewater Associates. Before that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Berkshire Partners from September 2014 to June 2017.

Jeff has also held significant positions at other prestigious organizations. Jeff served as the Chief Financial Officer, U.S. Private Bank at J.P. Morgan from May 2011 to August 2014. Prior to that, they held a series of roles at Deutsche Bank, including Chief Operating Officer, Private Wealth Management - U.S.; Head, Strategy and Business Development, Private Wealth Management - U.S.; and Chief Operating Officer, Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown between 2005 and 2011.

Before joining Deutsche Bank, Jeff was the VP of Strategic Marketing at GE Commercial Finance from April 2004 to May 2005. Jeff started their career at The Boston Consulting Group, where they served as a Principal from September 1999 to April 2004.

Jeff's professional journey began at Advisory Board, where they worked as a Director from June 1993 to June 1997. Overall, their work experience spans across various industries, including finance, consulting, and wealth management.

Jeff Whitaker attended The Altamont School from 1985 to 1989, where they did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Jeff then attended Williams College from 1989 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. Later, from 1997 to 1999, Jeff pursued an MBA in Finance at The Wharton School.
