Laura M.

Laura M. has over 18 years of experience in the accounting field. Laura began their career in 2001 as an Accountant at Cowlitz Bank, where they successfully managed A/P & A/R for the bank and the holding company. Laura then moved to GGP in 2007 as a Lead Accountant & Budget Specialist, where they were responsible for monthly & quarterly financial reports, monthly bank & GL recons, rolling 24 budget, CAM/RETX recoveries, mock settlements, percent rent accruals, income/expense accruals, and excise and B&O taxes. In 2010, Laura became a Lead Portfolio Accountant at NAI Elliott, where they maintained all budgets & CAM recs to ensure accuracy, and was responsible for lease abstracting for new leases and A/R & A/P. From 2014-2016, Laura held various consulting positions at FC Services, LLC, ECommerce Trade, and Columbia Credit Union. In 2019, Laura became an Accounting Manager at Community Home Health & Hospice, where they are responsible for the financial health of the organization, producing financial reports, monitoring financial activities, overseeing the daily functions of the Accounts Payable team, and developing accounting best practices. Laura also owns a business, Reliable Accounting and Bookkeeping Specialist, which they founded in 2015.

Laura M. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in 2010-2012 from Warner Pacific University, with a Double Major in Accounting & Business Management. Prior to that, they obtained an AA Transfer from Lower Columbia College in 2003-2006, with a focus in Accounting and Business.
