Heather Chambers has extensive work experience in healthcare, particularly in roles related to infectious diseases and transplants. Heather is currently the APP Medical Director at CHI Health, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner at Alegent Health-Immanuel Medical Center, Inc. from January 2019 onwards. Later, they completed their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Heather obtained certifications in Patient Safety from Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2016 and an ASTS Advanced Transplant Provider Certificate of Educational Achievement from the American Society of Transplant Surgeons in 2017.
