Aalok Rana

Aalok Rana has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management. Aalok is currently serving as the Head of Logistics/SCM at Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager - Warehouse & Logistics at Fareast Mercantile Co Ltd from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for warehouse administration, logistics operations, and inventory management. Aalok also served as a Deputy Manager Supply Chain at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd from 2016 to 2018, where they oversaw warehouse administration and logistics operations. Earlier in their career, they worked at Covestro (India) Private Limited as Manager - Materials & Logistics from 2008 to 2016, and at Moser Baer India Ltd as an Executive- Stores from 2007 to 2008. Aalok began their professional journey as an Executive - Stores at Hindustan Tin works Ltd in 2006. Aalok's expertise includes inventory management, stock audit, and optimizing logistics operations.

Aalok Rana has a diverse education history in the fields of international business, trade, economics, logistics, and agricultural business and management. In 2001, they started their bachelor's degree at Chaudhary Charan Singh University, majoring in Economics, which they completed in 2004.

In 2012, Aalok pursued a Certificate Programme in Global Trade Logistics and Operations from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, specializing in International Business/Trade/Commerce. Aalok also obtained certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt from the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi in April 2013, and in the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People from Franklin Covey in 2012.

Continuing their education, Aalok enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak in 2021 to earn a certificate in SCM (Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management). Aalok then pursued an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade between 2023 and 2025.

To expand their knowledge in agricultural business and management, Aalok completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Warehousing Management at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) from 2023 to 2024.

Additionally, Aalok holds the certification of Certified Kaizen Lean Manager from the Asian Institute of Quality Management, though the exact date of completion is not provided.
