Lee Giguere

Lee Giguere, J.D., joined Chiasma in September 2019 as Vice President, General Counsel. Prior to Chiasma, Mr. Giguere worked at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. an oncology-focused pharmaceutical company, where he served as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary and was responsible for a broad set of corporate legal matters. During his time at Karyopharm, the company filed a new drug application for its cancer drug, XPOVIO®, obtained accelerated approval from the FDA, and launched the commercial sale of XPOVIO® in the US. Prior to joining Karyopharm, Mr. Giguere was Senior Securities and Governance Counsel at Boston Scientific Corporation, a Fortune 500 medical device company, where he co-led the legal team responsible for public disclosures, SEC and stock exchange compliance, and corporate governance matters. Mr. Giguere began his professional career in the business law department of Goodwin Procter LLP where he focused on representing public companies in connection with securities law compliance, corporate governance and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Giguere earned his B.S. in Finance from Northeastern University and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.
