Shannon Collins is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in group sales management and a strong background in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Group Sales at the Chicago Athletic Association since August 2019, Shannon previously held positions including Director of Group Sales at Thompson Chicago, Sales Manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts, and Sales Manager at Denihan Hospitality Group. Additionally, Shannon worked as a Licensed Sales Assistant at Guaranteed Rate, demonstrating expertise in the mortgage industry. Educational credentials include a degree from Mount Royal University, completed between 1998 and 2003. Shannon holds multiple state licenses, including Illinois, Indiana, and California.

And this was the club whose venerable members swam with five-time Olympic gold medalist Johnny Weissmuller—a.k.a. the original Hollywood Tarzan—and watched fellow member Pudge Heffelfinger own so much end zone, he became football’s first pro. Reserved for the elite and privileged for 122 years—until we opened the doors and welcomed everyone—today Chicago Athletic Association is both a novel downtown destination on the doorstep of Millennium Park and a historic monument to the big-shouldered spirit that defines our beloved city.
