Allison Pillar

Allison Pillar possesses extensive experience in the field of horticulture and plant research, currently serving as a Grower in Indoor Floriculture at the Chicago Botanic Garden since May 2017. Previously, Allison held various roles at the Chicago Botanic Garden, including Assistant Grower and Seasonal Assistant Grower, as well as a Plant Propagation Intern. Education credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Macalester College, where involvement spanned roles such as Student Supervisor for the Grounds Crew and Summer Research Assistant. Prior experience includes a Summer Research Internship at Argonne National Laboratory.
