Eileen Prendergast

Director Education at Chicago Botanic Garden

Eileen Prendergast has extensive work experience in the field of education and programs management. Eileen began their career in 2003 as a Programs Manager at the Des Plaines Historical Society, where they worked until 2005. In 2005, Eileen joined the Chicago Botanic Garden as the Director of Education, a position they currently hold.

Eileen Prendergast completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies at Carleton College from 1994 to 1998. Eileen then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies from The George Washington University between the years 1999 and 2002.
